The Ceylon Motor Traders' Association (CMTA), founded on December 2, 1919 is one of the oldest trade associations affiliated to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
The Association represents the leading automotive manufacturers in the world through their local agents in Sri Lanka. The association is also open to automotive related franchise holders, and automotive ancillary industries. The CMTA strives to ensure sustainable growth for their membership and work towards achieving this strategy by establishing the position of the voice of the automotive industry in Sri Lanka.
